Starting with this issue it is my hope to be able to take myself out of this magazine as much as possible and include either more work from two writers or start adding an additional writer to the mix each issue.  Sometimes you will see my work if there isn't enough work to fill the issue.  There is such a high demand to be in DG and I am hoping to be able to feature as many folks as I can over the years.  Enjoy the new format!!

Jeff Fleming is the editor of the fine print magazine called Nibble.  He is a lover of the short poem and a spreader of fine words.  For years he has been producing Nibble and consistently searches for great precision poetry.  Jeff and his fine magazine are part of the collaborative distribution team at Durable Goods and he sends out my little gems with his little gems and the world is a damn happier place for it.  It has been a great pleasure to turn over the Captain's chair to Jeff for an issue of DG.

Leah Angstman is the editor and publisher of Alternating Current/Propaganda Press and is one of the hardest working women in the small press.  She is a dynamo and powerhouse and any other superhero word you can possibly think of.  Leah has been a long time supporter of Durable Goods and has been on the collaborative distribution team since I started it up.  She is an inspiration to me on a near daily basis.  Her enthusiasm for the arts is infectious and I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am very happy to have had her take the helm for an issue of DG.  I knew it was in good hands.
